The Pumpkin Patch

The first weekend of October we jumped on the chance to visit Bob’s Corn Maze for some now traditional fall fun.  Although it seemed premature to do this so far in advance of Halloween, the weather was good and we knew we had a bunch of busy weekends ahead.

The highlight of the day was the kids corn maze, which both kids thoroughly enjoyed: Molly searching for the five dead ends (each with place to dip your finger in to a color), and Leighton found corn stalks to beat things with and find the numerous caterpillars.

Of course, who can’t resist getting your photo taken as a farm animal.

The kids picked out one large pumpkin for the parent and their own small pumpkin.
