St. Edwards State Park Nature Hike

We make the one-mile trip down the road to St. Edwards State Park to take the kids for a nature hike.  Not only were there trees to see and climb in, trails to hike, and water to play in, there were slugs.  Both kids are fascinated by slugs.  I don’t know why, but they are, and thankfully so.  Spotting another slug was how we motivated Molly to keep walking up the trail on the way back to the car.

Sometimes needs to only look to one’s own backyard to find an adventure.  We’ll be back, and next time we’ll bring the swimming suits for the kids.
