We take Molly to a combination ballet and gymnastics class every Saturday morning, at Northwest Aerials, the local gymnastics training center. There are kids all over the place at all ages and levels, from barely walking to flying through the air on the uneven bars. The facility is only minutes from the house, making it easy to get Molly out of the house to burn some energy.
The class suits her personality: totally girly (ballet) yet rambunctious (gymnastics).
Ballet is a little more structured and orderly, although they learn to sit an wait their turn in gymnastics. It is incredible to see groups of 2 to 3 year olds following direction so well. She will be dancing and bouncing again today.
She calls it “nastics class”, which is about as cute as watching her jump around.
